Gap in Your App

When someone asks AI for an app, are you in the answer?

People ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini what to download. Some of those answers name your rivals and skip you. AI Search shows you which ones, every week, and gives the assistants better material to cite.

ChatGPT
Recommends three rivals instead.
Claude
Names your app, second of four.
Perplexity
Recommends one rival instead.
Gemini
Names no apps.

An example. Question asked: "Is there a chore chart app without ads?"

What you get each week

  • A check across four assistants

Five buyer questions, asked twice each with web search on. You see the share of answers that name you and who gets named instead.

  • Two answer pages

Written from questions people actually asked that week, with a short direct answer up top, practical detail, an FAQ and the structured data search engines read.

  • Published where it counts

To your own site through GitHub or WordPress, or hosted for you. Your own domain gets the most credit.

Straight talk. AI answers shift from week to week and no one controls them. We measure, we publish good pages, and we show you the trend. We don't promise placement.

Questions

Can you get my app recommended by ChatGPT?

We can't promise it, and anyone who does is guessing. AI answers change week to week. What we do: measure how often you're named, find the questions where rivals win, and publish clear, useful pages that answer those questions so assistants have something good to cite.

Do I need a website?

No. If you have one on GitHub or WordPress, pages publish there, which is best. If not, we host them at gapinyourapp.com/answers/your-app with a link to your App Store page.

Who writes the pages?

Our system drafts them from what people asked that week, in plain language, with your app mentioned only where it truly fits. Every page lists in your dashboard, and you can unpublish any of them.

How is the check run?

Each week we ask each assistant five buyer questions, twice each, with web search on, and record which apps they name and in what order.
